Hello, Freya here!
I'm a twenty-something year old living on the outskirts of Manchester having first moved here in 2010 to study languages at university. When studying a language, a 3rd year abroad is compulsory. As part of my 'year abroad' coursework, I had to blog living and working in a foreign country and it was then, that I first discovered the fashion and beauty blogging communities. Although learning a language is a great skill to have, it wasn't my passion. The online immersive world of bloggers and Youtubers was my obsession, and it was then that I finally realised what I wanted to do in life.
Before moving to Manchester, I grew up in a military family, meaning we moved house every 2 to 3 years. This makes it a little challenging when asked where I am from, and even more confusing when in the north, I am told I sound 'southern' then in the south, told I sound 'northern'. Needless to say, I've been here there and everywhere, but for the first time, truly feel that Manchester and the surrounding areas may actually be my forever home.
Being a full time social media influencer is still a relatively new industry but it's a dream to be able to call this my job. Having learnt a lot over the past few years, I feel I have found my niche and style. I love all things neutral and timeless so for that reason, I've started to gain a loyal following of others that share the same styles and interests.
